Try: Search online for instrumental music selections find songs that are energetic find songs that are soothing if the cr is agitated or upset about something play five to ten minutes of energetic music encourage the cr to move along with the music to help release tension after the energetic music play 20-30 minutes of slower soothing music encourage the cr to focus on relaxation after the soothing music has played encourage the cr to write his or her feelings in a journal periodically review the journal to determine if listening to the musical selections decreased the cr’s agitation make adjustments as needed if something doesn’t work try something else
