Exercise often has many benefits for the Care recipient (cr) making the exercise enjoyable or interesting often keeps the cr exercising longer suggest activities that the cr enjoys and include them in the activities

Try: Listen to music the cr likes while exercising walk around the mall a few times with the cr if the cr is able play a competitive game such as golf or tennis take photographs on a nature hike suggest the cr try a new exercise class with peers play one of the cr’s favorite movies while she is on the treadmill have the cr chat with a friend while walking stretching or strength training take a walk with the cr around town and look at older homes
