Care recipient (cr) only has use of one arm to prepare meals in the kitchen and needs help learning to do this task independently

Try: If cr has trouble stabilizing an object while preparing a meal try using a non-slip mat a pan holder on the stove spike board buttering board belliclamp or wedge against solid fixed objects a damp jay cloth also works well as a non-slip mat if cr has trouble cutting up chopping food try using a spiked chopping boards food processors or adapted knives if cr has trouble opening containers try using an electric can opener mounted can or jar opener belliclamp or wedge object between knees etc if cr has trouble carrying items try using a trolley or one-handed tray
