Try: Stress can make it even more difficult to commnicate try to remain calm when you are communicating with the cr also take whatever steps are necessary to keep the cr calm keep background noise and group conversation to a minimum this can be very stressful to a cr struggling with the loss of ability to speak coherently be patient as the cr struggles to communicate try to understand the cr as best as possible try not to finish the cr’s sentences that can cause further frustration especially if you have guessed incorrectly about what he or she is trying to say
