caregiver (cg) has negative feelings towards Care recipient (cr) because of difficult behavior and gets frustrated and angry

Try: Cg needs to understand and deal with negative feelings before the anger and resentment is turned toward the cr cg needs to give themselves permission to have these feelings step away from the situation and try to identify the different feelings – anger frustration anxiety or depression try to isolate what particular situation or event brings out these feelings write it down – this will give cg time to distance themselves from the situation try to find out different ways to deal with the situation the next time it arises that will cause less stress to the cg this may take several experiments to find out what works talk it out with a friend – don’t let the anger or frustration build up let it out and let it go
