Care recipient (cr) gets confused and agitated when grandchildren come but looks forward to their visits

Try: Even though children’s or grandchildren’s visits provide enjoyable moments for the cr it could also be confusing for the cr additional people in a room could add to the noise and distraction especially if the cr is trying to carry on a conversation with a grandchild and several other grandchildren are playing or talking in another part of the room this is especially true of the cr is hearing impaired in some way also the added movement of several people in a room at one time can be too much activity for the cr to try to watch and keep track of at one time try to have just one or two children at a time visit – this will also be beneficial to the grandchild because they will have that one-on-one feeling about their time with the cr
